Distance – 3.9 Miles
Start from Odd Down Park & Ride
Turn right out of the entrance to the P&R onto Combe Hay Lane
Follow the road until you see a gate on your left with 2 more tracks forking to the left as the road bears right
Follow wide track straight ahead and down to a gate
Walk through the gate and down the farmer’s filed in line with the hedge to the gate at the bottom
Go through the gate and turn right onto a track, follow the track past some farm buildings and a house until you see a footpath sign to the left
Walk through the gate an follow the path along the fence until you come to a small tunnel
Walk through the tunnel and continue to follow the path until it goes up some steps through a gate to Combe Hay
Turn right onto the road and follow to the bottom next to the Wheatsheaf pub
Turn left at the bottom and follow the road until it forks, take the left fork and continue to follow past a row of cottages and onto a tack
Follow the track and turn though a gate on the right into the meadow
Walk across the meadow and down the hill to a brook
*** Detour to the abandoned locks… Cross the brook and turn right following the path through a gate until you get to the abandoned locks of the old Somerset Coal Canal
Turn around and follow the path back along the brook the way you came and walk up the hill towards the house at the top
Walk through the gate and carry on straight ahead through the woodland
Walk through the gate at the top and follow the path up the field to the next gate
Walk through and continue up the road bearing left at the top and follow the track to the viewpoint
From the viewpoint carry on along the track until you come to the gate on Combe Hay Lane
Turn right through the gate and back to Odd Down P&R
