We walk every Saturday at 9am (& every Wednesday at 6pm through summer)
Each walk will be circular and we start from a different place each week. All starting points will be in or around Bath. The details of the meeting place will be sent to you via email when you book in via the button above.
The walks are all between 3 – 5 miles and take 2 hours at the most
The terrain is public footpaths so there will be some muddy days when it has been raining, but we will take this into consideration when choosing which walks to do
There will be hills involved on some of the walks but nothing overly strenuous for most people. If you can walk up any of the roads that lead out of Bath (Bathwick Hill, Widcombe Hill, Lansdown Road etc then you will be fine)

Our Story
Walk Bath started after I asked myself a question.
When you survey the world at large, what deeds need doing?
I have been walking the hills around our beautiful city of Bath since 2008 and it has been hugely beneficial for my mental and physical wellbeing.
When I’m out walking with my Spaniel Sid I forget everything that’s on my mind and just listen to the sounds of nature, while watching the boy enjoying the smells.
We have different, magical experiences every day while discovering new sights, sounds and smells that are all within walking distance from the city centre.
Bath is a city surrounded by breathtaking countryside, just a ten minute walk in any direction and you could be forgiven for thinking you were miles from civilisation.
So when I asked that question it made me think of the millions of people suffering with anxiety and depression around the world. It reminded me that reliance on anti-depressant medication is at an all time high, and it’s still on an upward trend.
We are in the midst of a health crisis yet at the same time, people are existing longer… existing not thriving.
I think it’s time to take personal responsibility for our physical and mental health, and I think walking in nature is the perfect place to start.
With your help we are going to reverse the current trend and help empower millions of people to realise that they matter.
